Museum Boerhaave published a descriptive catalogue (volume 6) dedicated to the time devices in the collection of this National Museum of the History of Science in Leiden. Title of this English-text catalogue, comprised by Hans Hooijmaijers, is:

The hardcover catalogue consists of 88 pages with black and white photographs by Tom Haartsen and contains descriptions of 71 objects, among which Domestic clocks (such as Hague clocks by Salomon Coster [pic. 1], Claude Pascal, Severijn Oosterwijck and Pieter Visbagh, a wallclock by Anthonius Hoevenaer and longcase clocks by Anthonius Hoevenaer, Leiden [pic. 2] and Dames Starre, Hoorn), Astronomical clocks (such as clocks by Isaac Thuret, Paris; Jacobus van der Kloese, Leiden; Willem Snellen, Dordrecht; F. Knebel, Amsterdam; Alexander Kaiser, Den Haag; Andreas Hohwü, Amsterdam ans Andreas Hohwü jr., Amsterdam), Chronometers (such as maritime chronometers by (H.F.) Knebel, Amsterdam [No. 46]; H. (C.) Cranenberg, Amsterdam; Andreas Hohwü Sr., Amsterdam [No 344 and No 661]; Carl Schmidt, Amsterdam; J.P. Dupont & Zoon, Rotterdam; Hamacher & Bender, Amsterdam and Abraham de Casseres) and other Time devices (such as secondscounters by Frans Pasteur, Leiden and A.A. Kempe, Utrecht). The catalogue is completed by a biographical register of 57 clockmakers.
